Sometimes life points you down a path you never planned to take—and ends up changing everything, which is the case for Debbie Gatzemeyer. After years working in accounting while raising her family, Debbie found herself helping with bookkeeping for her husband Scott’s growing business and a few family members. What started as “just helping out” quietly laid the groundwork for something much bigger.

As her children grew older, Debbie reentered the workforce through a temp agency, managing books for several small businesses. She quickly discovered both a natural talent and a strong demand for small business bookkeeping. Referrals grew, clients multiplied, and by 2013 Debbie officially launched OutSource One, working full-time from home and building a reputation she hadn’t expected—but fully earned.

Growth accelerated quickly. After hiring her first employee in 2020, OutSource One expanded from a basement operation to an office, teaching Debbie valuable lessons about pacing, sustainability, and leadership. Today, she leads a skilled team of bookkeepers and payroll specialists, helping small and mid-sized businesses truly understand their numbers. Debbie never planned to be here—but she wouldn’t change a thing.

Tiffanie Carmichael supports OSO’s financial operations by managing accounts payable and receivable, cleaning up accounts, and ensuring books are properly prepared for tax readiness. She brings over a decade of hands-on experience that began in 2012, growing from office management and light bookkeeping into a focused accounting role through years of practical, fast-paced work.

With extensive experience in blue-collar industries—including general contracting, masonry, plumbing, roofing and siding, residential remodeling, and commercial construction—Tiffanie offers strong real-world insight into construction-based accounting. Outside of work, she enjoys musicals and live theatre, building projects, cooking, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places. She is a proud mom to her 19-year-old son and a devoted cat mom to four, with family life keeping her grounded and energized.

Beth Russell brings over 25 years of professional experience rooted in customer service and entrepreneurship, including owning and operating her own construction company. Known for being highly task- and deadline-driven, she approaches her work with discipline, organization, and a strong commitment to accountability. One of her proudest accomplishments is being the mother of two daughters, a role that has further strengthened her focus and resilience.

Outside of work, Beth enjoys playing pool and values the routines that help keep her grounded and energized. She especially loves spending time with her Cane Corso puppy, Gucci, whose playful energy adds balance and joy to her daily life.

Dan oversees internal operations, ensures process consistency, and leads initiatives that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across the company’s service delivery.

Dan has almost 40 years of corporate accounting and human resource leadership experience, where he developed deep expertise in financial operations, team leadership, and people-centric expertise which now helps him cultivate an efficient, collaborative environment at OutSource One.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys traveling, reading, and spending quality time with his wife, their dog, Ruby, his two sons, their wives, and his three grandchildren—family moments that keep him energized and grounded.
